Close Out Documentation
Close Out Documentation is an important part to telling the story of what occurred on your building. An Operating Procedure Outline Sheet (OPOS) or Work Plan is the final document, verifying the equipment on the building to be used for window cleaning and exterior building maintenance is safe for use and meets code requirements. Per California code, it must include a number of elements in pictorial and written form to instruct employees about safe use of roof supported building maintenance equipment and/or procedures for window cleaning. It has become a major part of our industry and, while it can be appear to be a complicated document, it is essential that employees can easily read and understand it. In California, the document must be written by a person with a California Scaffold Inspection and Testing Certification.
